St. Louis is a Mississippi river town, and as such it benefited from the same African American diaspora out of the south in the first half of the twentieth century. If you go to St. Louis, you will hear about the blues, and jazz, ad nauseum. But St. Louis also has a cool indie record store- Apop Records. We are very pleased that they are carrying the Reading Rainbow Restless 7", and they are also one of the very few stores in the entire nation that has advanced copies of the Beaters White Hate 7" in their shop. You can't find that record in New York or Los Angeles, but in St. Louis, yes.
