We try not to be "that way" about blogs and blogging, but it's appropriate to spot light some of the fine shops that are carrying our product. We encourage our readers to patronize independent record shops.
Love Garden sounds in Lawrence Kansas has been around for almost 20 years. Last year, they moved from their old location to a new (better?) location- but the old locations remains as a liquidation spot- I believe that's the old spot pictured above.
Lawrence Kansas is home to the University of Kansas. Many coastal residents know it as the long time residence of William S. Burroughs. I've personally talked to many former students who compare Lawrence favorably to other Midwestern university towns like... Madison, Wisconsin or Ann Arbor Michigan.
And, it should be noted that they sold some Art Fag Recordings Best Coast records faster then any store anyplace else. They are currently stocking Zoo Music 004- Reading Rainbow Restless 7" and will be carrying the Woven Bones Minus Touch EP clear vinyl repress early next year. Also- a little birdie told me that they have 10 of the very, very, rare Art Fag Recordings Split 7" featuring the Dum Dum Girls, Crocodiles, PENS & Graffiti Island- so if you want one of those send them an email before they get sold out in the next 48 hours.
